Event Details: The State Ballet Theatre of Ukraine presents Sleeping Beauty.

Ballet - extravaganza in 4 acts (with one intermission) based on the fairy tales of Charles Perrault. The Sleeping Beauty is a famous story about sorcery destroyed by a lover's kiss. This is one of the most beautiful, festive, and cheerful ballets; Tchaikovsky said: "Sleeping Beauty is perhaps the best of my works." It's hard to argue as the music in this ballet so brightly and colorfully conveys the character and mood of the performers; each note gives a sense of a fairy tale and fireworks of emotions.
